In 2009, the world premiere of the action movie Fast and the Furious 4 took place, which became a continuation of the original Fast and the Furious and 2 Fast and the Furious and a prequel to Triple Fast and the Furious. According to the plot, the hero of Paul Walker drove the iconic R34 generation Nissan Skyline GT-R coupe and now this car can be bought. Moreover, not one of the many sports cars prepared for filming was put up for sale, but the one that was driven by the star actor. And it’s the only purebred GT-R in the entire movie.
Renowned tuner Daryl Alison of Kaizo Industries built a number of vehicles specifically for the filming of Universal Studios, most of them modified versions of the ENR34, and the only one used in Paul Walker’s close-ups was the original R34.
Equipped with a 2.6-liter inline-6 turbo engine paired with a 6-speed Getrag manual transmission, the all-wheel drive sports car additionally received a Turbonetics intercooler, Nismo lowering springs, a custom roll cage, an ARC titanium brace, 19-inch Volk Racing RE30 wheels, reinforced Rotora brakes, a V spec II Nur body kit, and a host of other upgrades, including additional MFD Xenarc gauges and even a Windows-based computer.
The Nissan Skyline GT-R is fully functional and can be operated on public roads, but if the new owner wishes to add his own to the 6,000 kilometers of the available mileage, then he will have to be Paul Walker’s physique – the seat is rigidly fixed, taking into account the optimal fit of the actor.
Together with the car, an NFT token created on the basis of 3D scans of the car will be sold. Also, other objects related to Fast and Furious 4 will be put up for auction, which will be held in the fourth quarter of 2022.
