You probably remember Will Smith’s motorhome. It was a kind of villa, on 22 wheels, with a cinema. But there are many luxury motorhomesand the Element Palazzo (produced by the Austrian company Marchi Mobile, based in Zurich) looks like a real luxury apartment.
It is an exclusive vehicle built with the same philosophy as a supercar: noble materials on board, aerodynamic analysis of the exterior and engine with several hundred horsepower.
The design process did not follow the traditional motorhome logic. Today, it takes a lot to stand out in the luxury industry, as customers spend a lot of time looking for unique solutions. This exclusive motorhome was built based on a concept that originated in the 1970s, when engineers were trying to build more aerodynamic and safer semi-trailers.
Today the single windshield of the cockpit is completely rounded, and allows, apparently, to better see the road through the round porthole (in carbon fiber).
The Element Palazzo is available in five configurations, with more focus on entertaining, passing luxury travel or business. At the top of the range is the Element Palazzo Superior, which has a Sky Lounge transforming the roof into a terrace. Its dimensions are rather generous: 13.7 meters long, 4 meters wide and 6 meters high. A veritable palace on wheels that moves thanks to a 600 hp 6-cylinder Volvo engine with automatic transmission.
Inside, it feels like a luxury villa (68 square meters in total). The floor is in light parquet, a table sits in the center of the main room which can be lifted or merge into the floor, the kitchen is worthy of that of a chef and the entertainment is provided by a 65 inch television and a high-end Hi-Fi system. Last note to assure you of ambient luxury: the company that manufactures the lit king-size integrated into this motorhome counts the British royal family among its customers.
