The diesel Genesis G80 for Russia is equipped with a derated 2.2-liter turbo engine – the output is 199 horsepower and 440 Nm. All-wheel drive and an 8-speed automatic transmission are required.
Choosing the diesel version of the “eighties”, the buyer should put up with modest dynamics – acceleration from standstill to 100 km / h will take eight seconds, and the maximum speed will be 237 km / h. For comparison, the gasoline version with a 2.5 engine (249 forces, 422 Nm) costs the same, but it exchanges a “hundred” for a second and a half faster and accelerates to 240 km / h. In terms of fuel consumption, the situation is reversed: the diesel G80 spends 5.2-5.4 liters per 100 kilometers in the combined cycle, and 7.5-7.7 liters for gasoline.
In the initial configuration of Prestige, the novelty costs from 4,205,000 rubles, the Executive version will add 300,000 rubles to the recommended retail price, Premium will cost 4,905,000 rubles, and the two top assemblies Luxury and Elite are priced at 5,155,000 and 5,605,000 rubles, respectively. Since December 2020, the equipment has not changed, and prices have increased by 0.7-1.3 million rubles.
