Traditionally used on two-door Porsche models, the acronym T now debuts on the first five-door of the Zuffenhausen brand – the Macan. New version of the compact SUV has a lighter engine, revised suspension and specific aesthetic details.
used by Porsche from the 1960s, the acronym T (Touring) represents, for the manufacturer from Zuffenhausen, versions with specific dynamic adjustment, exclusive equipment and efficient engines.
This tradition has continued more recently in the 718 Cayman T and 718 Boxster T, and now reaches the Macan. The compact SUV thus becomes on the manufacturer’s first five-door model to receive this designation/configuration.

Porsche also went ahead with changes in terms of ground connections, now including an all-wheel drive system which sends more power to the rear axlea stiffer front stabilizer bar, and suspension lowered by 1.5 cm.
The Macan T is the first model of the brand to include, as standard, the Porsche active damping management system (PASM), which allows this SUV to drop another 1 cm.
