The theatrical release of The Batman will be accompanied by a special edition Nissan Juke. On the occasion of the new chapter of the film series with Robert Pattinson starring the Kiiro version is one of the symbols of the promotional collaboration between Nissan and Warner Bros. Pictures.
“Kiiro” is the Japanese word for “yellow”. And as you can see from the images below, this is the color of many details on the body and interior. So, in addition to the “Ceramic Gray” color scheme, the special Juke is characterized by yellow inserts on the lower bumpers and door panels.
The lower fascia surround is aluminum, while the black 19-inch alloy wheels come from the top-of-the-line “Tekna” trim. In addition, the black mirror caps and the roof are decorated with a typical Nissan motif.
Inside, the seats are upholstered in black and gray leatherette, as well as yellow trim. As are the center armrest, dashboard and door panels. Also, the name “Kiiro” is inscribed on an aluminum plaque on the center console near the shifter.
Under the hood, the Nissan is equipped with the well-known 1.0-litre petrol engine that develops 114 hp and 200 Nm of torque. The engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox (standard) or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic with paddle shifters (optional).
The special edition’s technology includes the NissanConnect infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as TomTom Maps & Live Traffic apps compatible with the Google Assistant. In terms of safety, the Juke Kiiro offers an emergency braking function with pedestrian and cyclist detection, traffic sign recognition, lane departure warning and avoidance, blind spot monitoring and rear obstacle detection.
The special model Juke Kiiro is being produced in a limited edition of 5,000 pieces for Europe and can already be ordered from dealers. Prices start at 27,290 euros. For comparison: A basic Juke with the same 114 hp engine and manual transmission in the “Visia” equipment line is available from 19,990 euros.
