The most noticeable innovation in the cabin was the horizontal tablet of the multimedia system, stretching from the dashboard to the right deflector. A screen of a similar size can be seen in the new Ford Evos, but in the case of the Explorer, the “tidy”, placed in a large frame, still stands separately.
There is no official data on the technical “stuffing” yet. It is expected that Explorer will continue to be equipped with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost turbo engine with 276 horsepower (425 Nm), which accelerates the current model from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 7.6 seconds. The car will continue to be assembled at the facilities of the joint venture between Ford and Chinese Changan.
