Unveiled in 2021, the new generation Kia Sportage can now be pre-booked in Portugal. Announced with new electrified powertrains, the South Korean compact crossover is available from €28,750… with launch campaign and financing.
Despite waiting for the first units only for march, a Kia Portugal decided not to wait any longer and, according to the company, prompted by more than 350 interested parties who registered on the model’s online page, went ahead with the opening of the pre-booking period for the new Sportage.
Marked, from the outset, by a disruptive design, the fifth generation of the popular South Korean compact SUV is announced for Portugal with four engines and two equipment levels. In the first case, with the debut of electrified HEV and PHEV units, in addition to the more traditional 1.6 T-GDI petrol with 150 hp and the 1.6 Diesel with 115 hp.
Still in the case of hybrids, both based on the same 1.6 T-GDi gasoline, a HEV with a combined power of 230 hp, while the plug-in hybrid delivers 265 hp of power, thanks to the combination of a 66.9 kW electric motor and a 13.8 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery pack.

As for equipment levels, Kia Portugal has designed two options, Drive and Tech, with the first being reserved for the 1.6 T-GDi petrol. Both add technologies such as the dual curved screen debuted on the EV6.
