Ami is a six thousand euro quadricycle that does not require a driver’s license to drive. It reaches a length of 2.41 meters, and it is driven by an 8.2-horsepower electric motor, which feeds a battery with a capacity of 5.5 kilowatt-hours. The declared power reserve is 75 kilometers, and the maximum speed is only 45 kilometers per hour. It takes about 3.5 hours to replenish the energy reserve.
Inside, Citroen positions Ami as “a practical solution for short trips within the city” and “an alternative to scooters, bicycles, mopeds and public transport at a reasonable price.”
