The capacity of the 900-volt battery is one hundred kilowatt-hours: this is comparable to the serial EQS, but the new battery is 50 percent smaller and weighs about 30 percent less. 117 solar cells in the roof will add up to 25 kilometers on a clear day.
The cabin has a curved screen 1.21 meters long with a resolution of 8K (7680×660 pixels). You can communicate non-verbally with a virtual assistant, but there is also voice control: it has reached a new level. The 4D audio system divides the interior into several sound zones.
### Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR Two years ago at CES, the Germans [представили](https://motor.ru/news/mercedes-benz-vision-avtr-07-01-2020.htm) Vision AVTR (Advanced Vehicle Transformation) concept: the name refers to the Oscar-winning Avatar, which became a source of inspiration for the creators of the novelty . The car symbolized the unity of man, transport and nature.
The body is similar in shape to a drop, and the most striking detail of the exterior is 33 synchronously moving rear flaps. The pulsation of the backlight follows the rhythm of the driver’s heart. The power of the electric power plant is 470 horsepower, and a 110 kilowatt-hour battery provides a range of up to 700 kilometers. Elements of the four-seat cabin are made from recycled materials, and the seats resemble hammocks from the planet Pandora. There are no controls: the autopilot is responsible for everything.

Here Vision AVTR demonstrated the ability to read minds: the concept systems are controlled by the brain-computer interface – BCI. The interior has three displays of the MBUX Hyperscreen multimedia complex, seats with rose gold decor and thin backs, textile inserts on the doors, faux fur on the floor and a steering wheel. Each of the four riders rely on electrical adjustments and a separate tablet. A product variant will appear within the next couple of years, but the standard EQS will hit the market first, probably this year.

The car itself stretched 5.14 meters in length, and its cargo platform – 3.17 meters. The maximum capacity is a dozen passengers or ten euro pallets. The cargo module can independently sort and dispense goods.
There is an LED panel on the front that projects a “digital shadow”: so pedestrians or cyclists will understand that the car sees them. The computing platform learns itself, monitors traffic and schedules deliveries.

At the same time, the car is driven by an installation that runs on alternative energy sources, and the radiator grill has given way to a three-dimensional screen with a rose gold border.
### Mercedes-Benz Vision EQ Silver Arrow Another example of retrofuturism is the Vision EQ Silver Arrow. The Virtual Race Coach system allows you to virtually compete with the brand’s historic and current race cars. The car is driven by a 750-horsepower electric installation, but there is an imitation of the sound of the engine: for example, you can choose the “voice” of a formula car or a V8 engine from Mercedes-AMG. The battery with a capacity of 80 kilowatt-hours provides a power reserve of up to 400 kilometers.
Total electrification is inevitable, so Mercedes-Benz, like other automakers, is releasing more and more electric cars. The range already has EQC, EQS and EQE, and recently the Germans also revealed the Vision EQXX concept: this is a kind of exhibition of the brand’s achievements, designed to demonstrate the latest Daimler developments in the field of aerodynamics, as well as in the creation of batteries and composites.
