Honda Portugal has just opened the ordering period for what will become the least polluting version of its compact SUV – the HR-V Hybrid. Proposal that arrives in March, with a turnkey price of €34,500.
Available for online pre-booking, the new Honda HR-V Hybrid can be ordered upon delivery of a €500 reservation deposit. Since the delivery, properly speaking, of the first units, should take place, according to the manufacturer, from next March.
Still on the model, the Honda reveals that it will arrive in Portugal with two levels of equipment, Elegance and Advance, the latter with a turnkey price of €37,500.
As for the hybrid engine, it is worth remembering that it uses a four-cylinder 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC gasoline engine, coupled with an electric motor, to announce a combined power of 131 hp, as well as a maximum torque of 253 Nm.
Still for 2021. Honda shows HR-V e:HEV before market arrival
With this solution, plus an automatic gearbox, the Honda HR-V Hybrid announces an acceleration capacity from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds, as well as an official average consumption of 5.4 l/100 km, already according to the WLTP cycle.
Alongside the propulsion system, the HR-V Hybrid also promises segment-leading livability, comfort and convenience, plus cutting-edge technology and safety systems.
With the launch of this new variant of its compact SUV, Honda is expanding its electrified offer, which already includes the CR-V Hybrid, Jazz Hybrid, Jazz Crosstar Hybrid and the 100% electric Honda e.
Once the availability of the HR-V has started, only the Civic will not have electrified motorization in Honda’s line-up. Something that, however, should be overcome with the launch of the new generation of the hatchback, scheduled for the end of 2022.
Still on the model now announced, the Japanese brand recalls that the price now unveiled – €34,500 – already includes legalization and transport costs, 5-year unlimited mileage warranty, 5-year travel assistance and metallic paint.
